How to... create dried flower elements for scraping
I asked Designer Digitals how to scan dried flowers so i can use them as elements, here is the answer:

Thanks so much for your note. Your dried flowers sound wonderful and they
will make an excellent page element.
To eliminate the background, I would scan the flowers on a contrasting
background.
Drag the scanned page onto a new document and get the Magic Eraser tool.
Click "contiguous" in the Options bar.
Click on the background to remove it from around the flowers.
After that, get the Eraser tool and erase away any stray pixels that may be
floating around the flowers.

You will have to try different "Tolerance" levels in the Options bar to get
it just right and you may need to click on several areas.
