Postal Mite Scale - 1950s

This is a fabulous little 1952 Postal Mite Scale by the B-T Company INC. It is titled Postal Mite Scale and has all the rates for mail going out as of April 1, 1952. It is in excellent condition! The blue metal is in an incredible color and all colors listed on the weight areas are brilliant! Still works perfectly. Would be an excellent addition to any retro style decor.

1955 Mercedes-Benz Pickup Truck Reference# MB001

In the 1930’s Mercedes-Benz introduced the 170 Model. After the war, from 1940 to 1955, the 170 was produced in various forms, from a two door sedan, four door sedan to a roadster and a rarely seen pickup truck. This is a 1955 170 S-D Pickup Truck. As far as we know, the only one in the United States. The engine and chassis number are appropriate. The car has been repainted, the chrome redone, a new bed laid in, the interior redone, new tires, the engine tuned, the window glass replaced, the brakes redone…in short, ready to drive in your next parade…and to be sure your neighbor won’t show up in one. Big headlights between big fenders, suicide doors and that old time Mercedes grill…what more can you ask!

SNR XCELSIOR 52 WORLD WIDE LONG & SHORTWAVE RADIO FROM 1952

This extraordinary radio SNR (Societe Nouvelle Radioelectrique) of Paris France features five bands (including three spread bands of shortwave, longwave and broadcast) within a trapezial shaped plastic cabinet with a brilliant, faux lizard or snakeskin finish which is in excellent condition.  It appears that all or most of the internal hardware is original, aside from a new U.S. standard electrical wiring and plug.  It is not currently working, but could no doubt be brought to good working order after professional servicing.  Weighs 21.4 lbs.

VINTAGE BAR CART WITH SLIDING TOP

Vintage bar cart fabricated by Glenn of California with oiled walnut frame. Time period late 1960's to early 1970's. VINTAGE STEEL SAFE CIRCA 1950S

Vintage stripped steel factory table from the 1950s with original hardware.  There are three shelves inside for storage.

  

WORKSHOP CABINET

Workshop cabinet on casters with 24 drawers and maple butchers block top.  This vintage piece was originally an industrial parts organizer. 

The casing has been painted black to give it a more modern look, and the butchers block has been cleaned up.  Each drawer measures 7.5" wide x 23" deep making it a great piece of furniture for storage in any home or office.  The added casters allow for ease of mobility.
